Revenue Forecast Calculator
This is a mathematical business-planning estimate based on the assumptions you enter, not a guarantee of financial performance.
Understand the result
Project future revenue from a growth assumption
This forecast applies starting revenue × (1 + growth rate)^periods. It compounds the entered rate once for each selected month or year, so the result is a planning scenario rather than a prediction of guaranteed performance.

How compounding changes the forecast
With $18,000 starting monthly revenue, 4% growth, and 12 months, the calculation is $18,000 × 1.04^12, or about $28,814. Each period starts from the prior period's result, so later growth applies to earlier growth as well.
Negative growth and uncertainty
A negative rate models decline; for example, -5% applies a 0.95 multiplier each period. The tool accepts decline down to -100%, but actual revenue may vary because of seasonality, pricing changes, customer churn, capacity, and market conditions.
How to interpret the final amount
Treat the projected revenue as one constant-growth scenario. Compare it with a conservative case, a capacity check, and the Revenue Growth or CAGR calculators before using it in a budget or hiring decision.
Example: recurring service growth
A subscription business starts at $18,000 monthly revenue and assumes 4% monthly growth for 12 months. Projected revenue: $18,000 × 1.04^12 = about $28,814 Projected increase: about $10,814 The result assumes the same 4% rate repeats every month; it does not account for churn, seasonality, or a changing sales pipeline.
Frequently asked questions
Practical questions people ask about this tool
What formula does the revenue forecast use?
Projected revenue equals starting revenue multiplied by (1 + growth rate) raised to the number of periods.
What does a negative growth rate mean?
It models decline. A -5% rate applies a 0.95 multiplier each period, subject to the calculator's -100% lower limit.
Does the forecast guarantee future revenue?
No. It is a constant-growth scenario based only on the assumptions entered.
How should I use the final forecast?
Use it as a planning case, then compare it with actual-period growth, a CAGR view, seasonality, and operational capacity.
